I have been drawing most of my life. Before transitioning to digital art about ten years ago I mostly worked with Prismacolor colored pencils over a marker under base. From 2008 through 2015 I set up in artist's alley at numerous comic conventions around the Midwest. I would create several new pieces each year based on what was popular in movies, TV or comics and sell the originals and prints. It was a great way to share my work with more people. Even though I don't do much with this style of art anymore the things I learned doing them definitely still impact everything I create now.
